Jax State opened with Georgia Tech, a good team and played them decently 37-17. But Jax's QB, Ryan Perriloux (ex LSU) was suspended. I really think that the game this weekend will be tight if Perrilloux hits his receivers. He was very good at LSU and I expect him to fling the ball. If he would have made a two TD difference against GT, that's a lot of points.

Yeah....I saw Perriloux play at LSU, too. I saw him win the SEC championship and complete 67% of his passes in that game....and rush for a TD.
He might be the only non IA QB who has won an SEC Championship game. Makes me nervous when all I saw of FSU DB's were their backs as they chased Canes...oh, well, I did learn their numbers.

I don't think the Gameco*cks should be too much of a threat. Perrilloux is a talent, but their offensive line and receivers aren't going to compete with FSU. I think they're prohibited from NCAA tournament competition this year due to academic scandal or something to that effect, so I guess this is their season though.

They put up 300 yards on Georgia Tech without Perrilous. Had one less first down and held the ball for about a minute longer than GT.
IN fact..if GT hadn't had the two big plays...74 yard run (TD) and the 68 yard punt return (TD)...it's a close game.

Jax State?? The small school in Alabama???
The one where the field looks like a little league stadium?
It has been 15 years since I've been there, so it might have changed.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I'd be thinking the same as you. I always look at the opposition with regard to how good of a team might be showing up! In this case you have probably covered much of Bobby's advisem*nt to his team this week.
